MEET OUR TEAM
Max McCrory, CEO/Publisher and Executive Editor
Max McCrory was born and raised in Pittsburgh. Because of her strong love for the city, she returned to the ‘burgh after receiving her journalism degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She started her own social media consulting company, Nourish PGH LLC, shortly after graduating. When the opportunity to buy North Hills Monthly arose in August 2020, she jumped on the chance to fulfill her dream of owning her own magazine and helping it flourish in the community.
Janis Walsh, Account Executive
Janis Walsh has been with North Hills Monthly magazine since its start 21 years ago. Before joining the magazine, she served in human resources and also held a number of sales positions. A people person, Janis finds working directly with clients to be extremely rewarding, and appreciates that she has had the opportunity to meet so many business owners over the years and to contribute to their success as advertisers in North Hills Monthly. She is especially excited to see the magazine continue to expand its presence outside the North Hills area to other parts of Pittsburgh, and to introduce her clients to new digital and online opportunities.
Holly Anne Conti, Account Executive
A native of the South Hills and a Penn State alum, Holly Anne Conti chose to relocate to the North Hills when she returned to Pittsburgh after living in the Baltimore/DC area and has been loving it ever since.
The transitory nature of DC made her greater appreciate being raised in a tight-knit community like Pittsburgh. A background in sales and a major in speech communications made it an easy decision to join the North Hills Monthly family as an account executive in October 2019. She enjoys supporting the growth of local businesses and nonprofits and building relationships within the community. In her spare time, she spends as much time as she can camping, is an avid knitter, and sells fully functional swords at Renaissance festivals.
Trina Asterino-Nous, Graphic & Web Designer
Trina has been with North Hills Monthly since May of 2017. With more than 25 years of experience in the design field, Trina has created everything from annual reports and brochures and newsletters to websites, event collateral and advertising billboards. The owner of her own design firm, she has worked for clients including the San Diego Zoo, Western PA Humane Society, American Diabetes Association, Phipps Botanical Gardens, Frick Art & Historical Center, Pittsburgh Aids Task Force, Housing Authority of Allegheny County, Nemacolin Woodlands, and former Pittsburgh Steeler Jerome Bettis and The Bus Stops Here Foundation.
