Cafetano— 1601 Penn Ave., Strip District

Cafetano, a Honduran coffee shop, recently opened in the former Gaucho Parrilla Argentina space in the Strip District. The owner, Mirko Cuculiza, was born and raised on a Honduran coffee plantation, so he knows something about coffee. Cafetano’s menu has all of the typical coffee shop offerings, but they also have a few signature items. You can also have your coffee made in a variety of ways, such as with a siphon or a French press. In addition to their beverage menu, they have a large food menu with sandwiches, pastries, waffles, and more. Cafetano is open Monday 7 a.m.-1 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Visit www.cafetanopgh.com to learn more.
